Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Vormox ("Vormox", "we", "us") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you visit our website or use the Vormox managed Proxmox automation cloud (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — name, email address, company, and billing details you provide when you sign up.
  • Infrastructure metadata — connection endpoints, node, storage, and VM/LXC metadata required to operate automation on your Proxmox VE clusters. We do not access the contents of your virtual machines.
  • Usage data — log data, device and browser information, and analytics about how you interact with the Service.
  • Cookies — small files used to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as theme.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service and its automation features.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To communicate with you about your account, security, and product updates.
  • To improve performance, reliability, and security, and to prevent abuse.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with trusted sub-processors that help us run the Service (such as cloud hosting, payment, and email providers), under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations, or where required by law.

4. Data retention

We retain account and infrastructure metadata for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion of your account data at any time, subject to legal and accounting obligations.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and audited infrastructure — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@vormox.com.

7. International transfers

Vormox operates a globally distributed control plane. Where data is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data-protection laws.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
